Jenn Bailey

Jenn Bailey is a native Rhode Islander. She received a degree in Film and Broadcasting with an emphasis in Screenwriting from Boston University’s esteemed College of Communication. She has been a graphic artist, an editor and ultimately managed a team that produced marketing materials and client deliverables for an international consulting company in San Francisco. She has also taught art and creative writing to elementary aged children in Northern Virginia and Kansas.
Jennifer has a deep interest in photography. This passion has taken her on photographic projects in Canada, Scotland, England, Bermuda and New Zealand, as well as the United States. Her last free-lance opportunity involved documenting the University of Michigan’s solar car as it raced across the Australian outback against 41 international teams in the World Solar Car Challenge. The film, titled “Continuuum — Against All Odds” is currently being screened at Independent film festivals.

Jenn is also a children’s book writer and has published various poems and articles. She edits the online newsletter “In The Wind,” a regional resource for members of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators — an international organization with over 30,000 members. Jennifer is currently working on her first Graphic Novel.
